19 Mar Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of NeueHouse
NeueHouse, is a membership based private work and social home for creators, innovators, and thought leaders. There are a total of three houses; one in Hollywood, Venice Beach and Madison Square New York. Membership to the Madison Square house comes with many amenities and benefits, from access to a broadcast studio, podcast room, Artisan Roasted coffee, in-house art exhibition programming and more!
Their house which was once the home for Tepper Galleries, a well-known Manhattan auction house for the international artists and collectors in the 1930s, still serves as the grounds for creativity. The night began with DJ MoJo JoJo spinning a mix of old school and new school R&B and hip-hop hits. Each floor displayed unique and innovative art exhibitions. Featured artists included Juan Miguel Marin, an Ecuadorian multi-disciplinary artist who displayed a live sketch design; Savinien Caracostea, a designer and cultural entrepreneur, who blended his love of architecture and the culinary arts to construct a building made of cake; Stefanie Batten Bland, an award-winning director and dancer working at the intersection of dance-theatre, film, and installation art. Her choreographed dance by two dancers featured a number of technical dance moves and an apple! The show was then closed by Katini Yamaoka, a Japanes-African singer-songwriter who seamlessly blends her culture into her soulful music. She performed several original songs and the classic “At Last” by Etta James. She also attributed NeueHouse as the place that sparked her creativity for creating Katini Skin, her natural skincare brand.
NeueHouse has made its mark as one of the notable social houses in the world for the last 10 years. If you are interested in learning more about the membership or more visit, www.neuehouse.com.
